During Round 3.1, Lawrence faced an uphill battle. After qualifying in 15th place, she struggled in the heats, finishing 16th in Heat 1 and 27th in Heat 2. Despite her efforts, a technical failure in the electric system meant she did not start the final.
Round 3.2 brought new challenges but also moments of progress. Lawrence qualified in 26th place and managed to advance in Heat 1, finishing 16th. However, a 5-second bumper penalty in Heat 2 dropped her to 29th. Starting the final in 23rd, she showed determination and finished in 15th.
Despite the setbacks, Ava remains upbeat. “It was a tough weekend, but I learned a lot and I’m excited to keep improving,” said Lawrence. “I’ll keep working hard and pushing myself to get better.”
